Welcome to issue #5 of Red Alert, Red Force Recording's (mostly) monthly newsletter!  This month’s issue covers upcoming releases, new signings and the launch of our new website.  Scroll down to see what’s been going on at Red Force HQ!

Our latest single is the debut from Driving Force (also known as Lowell Gasparini) from Los Angeles, California. His track “Through The Years” is a synth-soaked melodic number with a nostalgic theme and spacey lead. Sunny Lax delivers a fresh uplifting remix with a techy aftertaste and Forerunners turn in an impressive interpretation packed with atmosphere and a thick bassline. MP3s are currently available at Audiojelly with the full release to follow June 2nd.

Upcoming releases
We welcome back long-term resident Avenger, who brings us “Climax” for our 22nd release. “Climax,” having already been hammered by Armin and licensed to Tranceworld 5, is set for a release by the start of the summer and will come with a chillout mix and a blistering remix from Armada’s Bissen.
 
Georg Bissen joins Red Force Recordings as new A&R
New York-based DJ/producer Georg Bissen joins Red Force as chief A&R. With years of experience behind the decks and more heavily-supported releases than you can shake a stick at, Georg knows a good record when he hears one.

 

Speaking about becoming part of the Red Force team, Bissen said "I'm glad to join the Red Force team as A&R. Ever since Sundriver's “Feel”, the label has been on my radar and has produced some strong releases. Having done a couple remixes for the label as well, I'm happy to now be able to have more of a creative say in the label's direction."

Better know an artist: Driving Force

Driving Force (commonly known as Lowell Gasparini)

Driving Force, born Lowell Gasparini is a Vancouver, Canada based Producer and DJ. Lowell discovered a true passion for music at the early age of 11 when he started playing guitar. Over the next few years he learned drums, bass, and piano. Further down the line, a friend introduced him to electronic music. Having found his genre of choice, Lowell began to produce using Reason.

Now in 2010, his debut release “Through The Years” is set for June. Having already playlisted on A State Of Trance, his future is looking very promising. You can expect to hear more high energy uplifters from this newcomer in the very near future!

New website, new address

As mentioned before, we have been planning on switching domains once we launch the new website and now that day is finally here. The new site can be seen at www.redforcerecordings.com. The website is a bit basic at the moment but we will be adding in more content and regular news updates as time goes on.
